“Weed the Garden”
Weeding the garden.. a beautiful metaphor for weeding the negativity out of your life. Our goal going through life is to get to a state of blooming and thriving in a beautiful garden filled with an abundance of healthy flowers. Along the way to arrive here, we need to get rid of the weeds that clutter the garden. One would think that the weeds are negative and do not exactly serve a purpose, however, the weeds give us the perspective of gratitude towards the beauty of those blooming flowers. It is magnifying all the work you have done to become to person that you are today. The weeds serve a purpose of learning, appreciation, and growing. At some point we do need to let those weeds go because they are not healthy for the environment. The weeds need to be cleared for the further growth of the garden. Weeding might even feel like a chore and in your life, making the decision to put your best self first and let go of the things weighing you down is a difficult task. We learn to let the negative habits, people, and things in our life go when we are ready. This is your reminder to prepare yourself for letting the negativity go. You deserve to be the best version of yourself. I want you to think about all you can let go in order to make room for better and healthier things. Envision yourself as a beautiful rose in the healthiest of gardens surrounded by the beautiful sunshine and you’re blooming and growing towards the sun. You deserve to feel like that beautiful, thriving, healthy flower. The light surrounds you and loves you. Instead of thinking you should be this way, think about how you CAN and DESERVE to be this way. Let go of the pressure to be perfect and allow yourself to grow naturally how you deserve to be. Weed out the negativity and watch yourself g r o w. If you’re needing help to tap into what you feel you can let go. Mediate and journal on it. During your time in deep and mindful thought, think about the times you feel your best. Who are you around, what does your environment/home/work look like, what feelings are you feeling, what are you doing for yourself. Think about what is getting in your way of feeling this at all times. Think about what you can let go and what feelings to release. These things are no longer serving you and it is okay for you to put it down. These things are heavy, unhealthy, and not serving you any longer. It is time for you to live for you. Become the beautiful flower and create the garden you deserve.
